The Sphynx
The Sphynx is a medium sized cat which appears hairless with a wrinkled skin.
It is surprisingly heavy for its size and has a muscular body. The head should have rounded contours and be slightly longer than wide. The cheekbones should be prominent along with a strong muzzle and firm chin.

Origin
The breed originates from Canada and the lack of hair is a natural uccuring mutation.
The breed was estabished during the last decades and recognized by FIFe in the year 2003.

Temper
The Sphynx is a little monkey in a cats body. Extremely active and always up to some tricks. They are very curious and loves to assist you with whatever you are doing. They are so carefree and does not have a troubble in the world, always thinks the best of everyone.
The Sphynx loves heat and to snuggle up in your lap. They are very affectionate and always want to be close. Greets the guests with happiness and loves the extra attenton.
They are marvelous cats, brings you so much joy and love aswell as keeping you from ever getting bored. An outstanding familymember!

Colours
The Sphynx is permitted in all colour varieties and patterns, including those with white.

Allergy
The Sphynx is, because of its lack of hair sometimes considered suitable for people that suffer from allergy. This can be true in some cases, bur far from all. Allergies are individual and what work for one person might not for another. So to find out if you can tolleate the Sphynx, visit a breeder and test you allergy.
